Every experience begins with getting to know your pet — their personality, quirks, energy level, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. You’ll share a bit about their story and the artwork you’d love to create so the session can be thoughtfully tailored to your pet and your home.
Your pet is welcomed into a quiet, private studio intentionally designed for comfort. We take our time, letting them explore, settle in, and relax at their own pace. With gentle guidance and plenty of patience, we capture genuine expressions, sweet details, and all the personality that makes them who they are.
After the session, you’ll receive access to your private online proofing gallery — a curated collection of portraits from the day. This is where you’ll choose the images that feel the most meaningful and representative of your pet.
Once your favorite images are chosen, you can select from a collection of fine art prints, framed wall pieces, albums, and keepsakes. These products are purchased separately from the session fee, giving you full flexibility to invest in the artwork that feels right for your space. Every physical piece includes a complimentary matching social-sharing digital file, allowing you to enjoy your portraits both online and in your home.

All artwork is purchased after your session once you view your proofing gallery. The studio is artwork-focused and most clients choose framed wall art, albums, or curated print collections.
Every piece of artwork comes with a complimentary matching social-sharing digital file so you can enjoy your images both in print and online.
Most clients invest between $400 and $1,800 dollars on custom artwork and handcrafted pieces for their home. There is never any pressure to purchase more than what feels meaningful to you.
What’s included in the Studio Session Fee?
The $200 Studio Session Fee includes up to 60 minutes of private studio time, a timeless white backdrop, creative direction, and access to a calm, pet-friendly studio environment. You’ll also receive a private online proofing gallery where you can view and purchase artwork after your session.
Are digital images or prints included in the session fee?
Digital images, prints, and products are not included with the session fee. All artwork is purchased after your session once you’ve viewed your proofing gallery, allowing you to select only the pieces you truly love.
How many pets or people can participate?
Sessions include up to two dogs from the same household. Additional dogs are $50 each, with a maximum of four dogs per session. Up to four people may join as well; because studio space is limited, please email hello@elevenpawsphotography.com

Inspired by her own three pups, she pairs fine art technique with a calm, dog-centered studio experience that helps every pet feel at ease. After launching her first studio in the Pacific Northwest, she brought her vision to San Diego to create elevated portraits and handcrafted artwork that preserve your dog’s personality for years to come.

My dog gets some extreme anxiety anytime we go to a new place... Mekinsey was really great at letting me just try and calm down my dog and was extremely patient and understanding of her being nervous. She ended up getting some really great shots when my dog was feeling it. The low pressure environment she created was great and she never made me feel like she was annoyed with my dog during the entire session.
